The £4bn energy customers have been overcharged

Citizen’s Advice recently published a report showing the outcome of an investigation they ran on the profits of network companies, those in charge of our gas pipes and our electricity cables. The outcome of that investigation is that these companies have pocketed nearly £4bn more profit than they should have done!

Our Petition: Give us back our £4bn Ofgem!

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to inform you all that The Independent wrote an article about our petition today. We managed to attain 40,000 signatures in just 10 days, we’re really close to the 50,000 signature mark which will mean I will contact Ofgem and ask specifically for a consultation on recouperating the excess £4bn we paid to network companies.

If we are successful, we’ll end up getting every household in the UK a £130 return on their energy bills, which would be incredible.

Thank you all for your hard work sharing this petition around, please keep it up. We need around 9,000 more signatures at the moment, so share the petition on your social media pages and with your friends and family to raise awareness. Together we can get Ofgem to listen.
